Hi, we’re Jess and Ollie, the founders of SQWK Co.
SQWK Co. started with something much bigger than clothing. It started with Ollie, his love of aviation, and the way that aviation has completely changed our lives.
Ollie lives and breathes aviation. Over the last few years, it has become so much more than an interest. It became his happy place, his escape, his confidence and eventually a huge part of who he is.
One place in particular has become incredibly special to us: Halfpenny Green Airport.
What started with visits to see the aircraft quickly became something much more. Ollie has made friends with staff, engineers and student pilots, and we’ve been welcomed into a community that genuinely feels like family. He knows the people, the aircraft, the sounds and the routines. He can spend hours there talking about planes, watching the comings and goings, learning from people who share his passion and simply being himself.
In many ways, Halfpenny Green became a second home.
And Ollie doesn’t just want to watch aircraft anymore. He wants to fly them.
Ollie’s dream is to become a pilot. He has already had several flying lessons and is determined to work towards gaining his Private Pilot Licence. For him, flying isn’t simply something he’d like to do one day. It’s a goal he is genuinely working towards.
SQWK Co. is part of that journey. Our hope is that, as the business grows, it can help Ollie take those next steps towards the cockpit and, one day, turn the dream he talks about so passionately into reality.
Ollie’s journey has also inspired us to create something for other young people who share that same love of aviation.
In February 2026, we started our own home education aviation group at RAF Museum Midlands, Cosford. What began as an idea to bring a few aviation-loving children together has grown into a brilliant little community of its own.
We have an amazing bunch of kids who come along, many of whom have had incredibly difficult experiences in school. Some had reached a point where they couldn’t even walk into a classroom.
Now, those same children are asking when the next aviation session is.
They want to come.
They want to learn.
They want to talk about aircraft.
They want to be there.
Seeing that has been incredibly special to us, because we know first-hand just how powerful it can be when a child finds something that makes them feel like they belong.
Aviation has given Ollie that feeling, and we’re incredibly proud that something which has changed his life can now help create that same sense of belonging for other children too.
That’s what SQWK is really about.
Yes, we make clothing and accessories inspired by aircraft, pilots, airfields and all the little details that make aviation so brilliant. But behind every design is a genuine love for this world and the people who make it what it is.
We’re still a small family business. Everything is built around our family, our love of aviation and Ollie’s dream of one day sitting in the left-hand seat.
Every order, every follow, every message and every person who chooses to wear SQWK genuinely means the world to us.
This isn’t just a clothing brand to us.
It’s a little piece of a much bigger story.
A story about a boy who found his place in the aviation world, a family who found a community within it, and a dream that we’re determined to help take flight.
